About the event
This is an opportunity to walk from the proposed start of the Grand Western Greenway, along the route as much as public footpaths allow, and finishing in French Weir Park in Taunton.
We will meet by the rear entrance of the Pritex factory at the end of Lillebonne Road in Wellington in time for a departure at 09:30. (///candy.amicably.galaxy). You can bring your dog but please be prepared to keep it on a lead at all times.
The terrain is flat, but recent rain can make it a bit muddy in places. We will have a break by the river near Bradford on Tone before going on into Taunton. Overall distance is approximately 8 miles. You will need to make arrangements to return, but there is a regular bus service from Taunton to Wellington.
