Walk the Greenway (XV)

This is an opportunity to walk from the proposed start of the Grand Western Greenway, along the route as much as public footpaths allow, and finishing on Staplegrove Road in Taunton.

We will meet by the rear entrance of the Pritex (Relyon) factory at the end of Lillebonne Road in Wellington in time for a departure at 09:30. You can bring your dog but please be prepared to keep it on a lead at all times.

The terrain is flat, but recent rain can make it a bit muddy in places. We will have a break at the Bradford Bridge (bring a flask) before going on into Taunton. Overall distance is approximately 8 miles. You will need to make arrangements to return, but there is a regular bus service from Taunton to Wellington. We may be able to offer limited transport – please contact us well in advance.
